- Qualification: Participants must have successfully completed at least one officially timed Marathon (42.2 KM) at least 8 months before the event.

About the Event

Solapur Ultra Marathon 2026 is a unique Village Experience Day Ultra organized to celebrate India's 79th Independence Day.

Since 2022, Challenger Sports Foundation has celebrated Independence Day by increasing the ultra distance by one kilometre every year:

- 75 KM – 2022

- 76 KM – 2023

- 77 KM – 2024

- 78 KM – 2025

- 79 KM – 2026

Run through the beautiful village roads of rural Maharashtra and experience an unforgettable ultra marathon that blends patriotism, endurance, hospitality, and community spirit.

Route Planning

The race course is designed as an approximately 25 KM loop, providing efficient race management, enhanced runner safety, and continuous runner support.

- 25 KM: 1 Loop

- 50 KM: 2 Loops

- 79 KM: 3 Loops + Final 4 KM

This loop format ensures easy crew access, better race management, and an authentic Village Experience Ultra.

- Participants must follow the official race route.

- Crossing every timing mat is mandatory for an official result.

- Outside support, personal pacers, bicycles, motorcycles, cars, or any other vehicle assistance is strictly prohibited.

- Any violation of race rules may result in disqualification.

- Participants take part entirely at their own risk.

- Organizers reserve the right to modify race arrangements if required for safety or operational reasons.
